Wedding photography is arguably one of the most important things in your special day since your wedding photographer will be capturing what you will enjoy for the rest of your life and pass on to your kids and so on. Please make sure you select a New Orleans wedding photographer who’s style resonates with you and who’s personality is a good match to yours, especially since you will be spending your entire wedding day together. We strongly recommend, at least, having some phone conversations with your New Orleans wedding photographer before you book them.
Price and Coverage
Your selection of New Orleans wedding photography coverage should not be based purely on low price. Basing your decision primarily on low price may not give you the results you were hoping for (potentially from an inexperienced photographer) and there is no way to re-create your wedding day.
A typical New Orleans wedding is an all-day affair full of good times with incredible food, drinks and music. Your coverage should include at least 7-8 hours of photography in order to capture your wedding from getting ready to the reception and to have enough time for the couple's creative session and family photos in addition to pure documentary. One thing to remember is that you want to pace yourselves and build in small breaks into this hectic day so it doesn't feel like you're always on the run and are exhausted by reception.
A wedding should be complimented by a wedding album and/or prints that will stay in your family for generations to come. Ask your New Orleans wedding photographer how many pages and photos your wedding album will have and what sizes are available.
Yes, most of our income comes from photography.
Definitely! We figure out our travel costs, select a wedding photography package and go. We don't charge travel costs within 100 miles of New Orleans.
Q. How do you describe your photography style?
Our photos have a modern lifestyle look where we blend the worlds of documentary photography and art. We work close to our subjects and produce images of the event's participant rather than observer. During our creative session with the couple and family formals, we give posing direction. Other times, you will not even notice us. As our name suggests, we are constantly capturing those fleeting elusive moment that most people will not even notice because there is so much going on on a wedding day. The overall goal is for everyone to have a good time and for our clients to get great professional photographs!
Q. How long after the wedding will I have to wait to get my photos?
Our usual turn-around time for posting your photos online is 3-4 weeks, but can be up to 6 weeks during a busy season.
$500 non-refundable retainer that will count towards your total photography cost.
We will talk about your day and figure out the best photo collection that meets your wishes. Then, we will email you a contract with a PayPal invoice that you can pay with PayPal or a Credit Card.
